Governance, culture & professional standards

Most governance failures aren't surprises. They build slowly — in the gaps between what an organisation says it does and what actually happens day to day.

I work with boards and organisations on governance frameworks, ethics and professional standards — drawing directly on leading the Solcitors Disciplinary Tribunal through its own governance transformation, and from 14 years of being part of the executive committee with responsibility for the UK legal function at a global institution.

The aim is to build the right culture and the right processes before something goes wrong, not after. And to ensure that everyone working in the legal profession understands what is expected of them in terms of their professional responsibilities.

A monthly retainer or a training programme is a fraction of the cost of a single investigation or tribunal.

Think of it as a senior independent adviser on call — available when you need them - helping you as a leader improve standards and take control over change within your organisation.
